Deer Country Friends

Hace un tiempo, durante la pandemia, hicimos nuevos amigos gracias a la música country y la tecnología. Así es como nos enteramos de un equipo de increíbles instructoras de line dancing que formaron un grupo de baile con chicas y chicos de Ciudad de Juarez en México. Su historia es tan inspiradora que Bruno Nesci tuvo la idea de crear una canción especialmente para ellos. Así fue que con su música y la letra de Paz Vidal, dedicamos Deer Country Friends a estos fantásticos chicos y sus profesoras de baile. Espero que disfruten este video que muestra a los linedancers de Deer Country en diferentes hermosas locaciones de su ciudad y un segundo video con la letra de la canción para que puedan cantarla!

A while ago, during the pandemic, we build some new friendships thanks to country music and technology. This is how we learnt about a team of amazing country linedancing instructors who formed a dance group with young boys and girls from Ciudad Juarez in Mexico. Their story is so inspiring that my friend and fellow country musician Bruno Nesci came up with the idea of creating a song especially for them. So with his music and my lyrics, we dedicated Deer Country Friends to these awesome kids and their dance teachers.
